The anguish of patience
The anguish of patience
The prophet was halted until forty years old
Then God charged him and declared that the truth be told
Oh Muslims look at this simple fact
And reflect on this before you act
Whilst passion exists within the young
Your lack of the world can make you dumb
Life is long, and opinions change
Can you declare before God you will remain the same?
To live like our prophet whom you adore
Does not mean you impose Allah’s law
Look at how he lived and reenact this
And you shall be destined for eternal bliss
Stand up and speak for what is right
Hold back, refrain to engage the fight
Find love, be married and true to your wife
For in this act, is half your life
To live like the prophet is to visit the sick
Not stand and preach, you hypocrites!
You have no notion of the repercussions of war
It you not be something to seek or adore
The easy life of the sheikh seated on his stand
Mirrored by the hardship of the mortal man
